This looks incredible even from creative. Granted I am a very pronounced apple fan boy. This looks promising. If it had a cell antennae this would be amazing. Android is comming along VERY nicely.

New found glory coming home.

So i’ve finally come to my senses over a band. I’ve dug new found glory since the glory days of highschool. Up until the catalyst album which Ive still got mixed feelings about. I just picked up their last three releases and I haveto say I love them.

Final transformers thoughts.

At the time of writing this I’ve now seen the transformers movie three times. Does that mean I’m a big fan of the film? It obviously was not nearly as bad as the critics have stated. Upon my last time checking it has grossed over 622 million dollars worldwide. Half of that being in the us. This being done in less time than the original film. It should easily break it’s 700 million benchmark. So how could a film that was so horribly done make this much money?

This look’s incredibly promising.  When I first heard about this I figured it’d be a buggy slow running htc phone but WOW the spec’s on this are very nice. plenty of ram to keep everything smooth. Can’t wait for this to make it to america this fall/winter.  I think apple is going to have some serious competition now that android has taken off.

Just felt I should post a link to this. This show’s just how innovative and commanding apple has been.  A giant like sony is now on the offensive full time.

Transformers revenge of the fallen review.

I’m sitting here at the sold out IMAX theater with Tammy. Waiting for the sequel to transformers the movie. I got here at 10:28 under the impression the doors would open then. They didn’t open until 11:00 so I got to stand in a hot long ass line. For a drawn out half hour. (back to me sitting in the theater. ) the movies about to start. So I’ll continue in a moment.

:intermission:

So I’m going To say this movie is great. Not perfect but far superior to the first. They gave us exactly what everyone complained about. More cybertronian violence. How could you nitpick about such small things as the pace and the editing when the story isn’t all that bad and the visuals are amazing. Sure my main problems With it were the lack of screen time for some of the bots. What we got this time though is worlds more than the first film. Skids and mudflap stole the film. I thought I would hate them until I began seeing final cgi renders of them. No they are not racist they were a parody of some of todays culture.

I saw the movie again with my cousin and sister in the regular theater and I thought it was just as good. So people lay off and take it for what if is. A re imagineing of an 80’s cartoon about transforming toys. It had decent characterization compared to the last movie. Couple of flat spots just like every other movie had.

The dark knight was not perfect, iron man was not perfect , the hulk was not perfect. But they were all amazingly good comic book movies.

Valentino Rossi’s last lap pass on his teammate Jorge Lorenzo.  One of the best races of the past 10 years right up there with Laguna seca of 2008. Since it’d be hard to tell Valentino’s bike is number 46 with the green helmet, and Jorge’s bike is 99 with a black and red helmet.

Lightroom 2?

Well I’m going to quit dragging my feet with this blog. I’ve said this so many times. So here’s a new entry.

I’ve discovered a new photography tool, in the form of Adobe lightoom 2. Most use adobe photoshop as their primary source for processing photos. While it’s great at what it does in every way. There is a little to be desired when it comes to photography.

Camera raw in cs2 is very useful in editing RAW images but only in a basic sense. Adobe Lightroom2 allows the same editing capabilities. While also offering far greater control over exposure,white balance,everything camera raw can do. But with greater flexibility.

The adjustment brush is my favorite adition. Allowing you to paint your adjustment(obviously) onto a specified area of the image. Eliminating layer masks for simple and precise exposure adjustments.

The option to have a side by side preview of your progress is helpful. Allowing you to gauge how dramatic of a change to the image.

In hindsight I realize that lightroom, and lightroom 2 aren’t new by any means. I’m just sharing a short account of my experience with using it.
